Aeolus starts with the time you have. It helps you find a nearby option, check the weather, invite people, and keep the memory afterward without asking you to maintain a daily journal.
Meet the founders
Roseth Perera and Abdullah Khaden are the co-founders of Aeolus. Their work spans engineering, data, economics, and risk. They are building Aeolus to make planning easier without hiding uncertainty.
Engineering & product systems
Roseth studies electrical engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and previously worked as a software development engineer intern at Amazon, where he built a conversational AI assistant on AWS Bedrock. At Aeolus, he works on product and engineering for messy real-world data.
Data, economics & risk
Abdullah studies data science and economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His experience includes operational analytics, market risk, and community building. At Aeolus, he works on how data and risk should shape recommendations.
The language model can explain a plan, but it cannot override Aeolus's deterministic weather thresholds.
We label samples, name limitations, and do not invent testimonials, usage counters, or press coverage.
Private notes stay private. Sharing a review, invitation, or story is a separate and visible choice.
A two-hour Side Quest and a multi-day trip use different interfaces, with the same care for time and uncertainty.
Where it works today
We are validating opportunity discovery city by city, starting with Chicago and official local sources. Trip planning can cover other destinations when activity, map, route, and forecast data are available. Coverage varies by place.
Why the name
In Greek myth, Aeolus knew the winds. The useful modern version is less magical: check the relevant forecast, show what changed, and never let fluent language masquerade as certainty.
